Game Description:
In a resource-starved future Earth, mutants called Lufians—originally engineered to solve the food crisis—rebel against humanity, triggering devastation. The PAL-CHN iQue release preserved the English title “Sin and Punishment” on box art and in-game UI while localizing menus and subtitles into Chinese. Japanese voice acting remained untouched. This dual-language setup is a classic soft localization—maintaining global branding while adapting accessibility for the target region.

Tsumi to Batsu: Hoshi no Keishōsha (Sin and Punishment – Successor of the Earth) has been fan-translated into American English by Zoinkity. The patch uses the .bps or .xdelta formats and was released around 31st August 2013 (v1.0) and 24th September 2017 (v1.1). As the game was not initially released outside of Japan, this gave all users the opportunity to play this great game with English text. This was removed from anyone accessing this a very long time ago, but thanks to Zoinkity, he has made it available to us again. Tsumi to Batsu: Hoshi no Keishōsha (Pecado y castigo: Sucesor de la Tierra?) has been fan-translated into Spanish by Traducciones del Tío Víctor. The patch uses the .xdelta format and was released on 01 November 2015. First release of the Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth Spanish fan translation & fandub. The compressed file contains two patches, one for those who want to hear the original English voices and one with a full, new European Spanish dub, made between Traducciones del Tío Víctor and Estudios G3S. This GlideN64 / Rice pack from Vanit is a High Resolution Texture and Translation pack of the game Sin and Punishment.This game was one of the most popular in Japan and was only ever released there, This sadly meant it was in Japanese and not English until now!
